Port Blair, Apr 16: School level training on health & wellness was organized Under Ayushman Bharat at GSSS Campbell Bay on 13th April, 2023 to identify Health and Wellness Messengers. Altogether 50 Students participated and out of which 32 were selected as Health & Wellness Messengers.
Health Ambassadors of this school namely, Mrs. Sheela J GTT, Mrs. P. Rajeswari SSCT and Mrs. Vidya Basini Tiwari SSCT highlighted the importance of 11 Health and Wellness modules so that the students can develop a healthy lifestyle and learn about reproductive health and prevention from HIV. Such programs will enable the messengers to develop qualities like critical thinking, problem solving, decision making and effective communication skills among the students as well as community.
The Principal, Mrs. M.V. Jolly, urged the messengers to propagate the message among the friends, peer group and the society as well.
