Port Blair, Apr 09: Hanuman Janmotsav is an auspicious and revered festival of Hinduism grandly celebrated with great enthusiasm and devotion by Vishwa Hindu Parishad, A&N Islands. VHP Organized the Hanuman Chalisa Paat in various temples of A&N Islands.
A grand programme was organized at Namunaghar Durga Pandal by Community chanting of Hanuman Chalisa for 108 times and concluded with Bhajan Keertan by Namunaghar unit of VHP. The programme started with Deep Prajwalan and offering of Mala Arpan to Lord Hunuman ji by the Members of VHP.
After the recitation of Hanuman Chalisa, the President of Vishwa Hindu Parishad addressed the gathering and informed about the importance of Hindu religious programs. The Hanuman Janmotsav culminated with distribution of Bhog Prasad to all the devotees and the gathered public.
Similarly, the Diglipur Zilla Samiti of VHP organized a grand bike rally at Diglipur to celebrate the Hanuman Janmotsav and a large number of youths participated in the bike rally.
