Port Blair, Mar 31: The Port Blair Municipal Council bid farewell to six employees of the Council, who superannuated from government service. At a simple function held on 31/03/2023 in the Chairperson’s chamber of the Port Blair Municipal Council. Mrs. S.Selvi Chairperson, PBMC handed over all the retirement benefits including GPF, gratuity and other monetary benefits to the retiring employees. In her address Mrs. S.Selvi, Chairperson, Port Blair Municipal Council recalled the valuable services rendered by them to the Council and wished them happy and healthy post retired life. Mementoes were also presented to the employees. Senior officials/officers were also present on the occasion. The Names of the employees who retired are viz. Mr. Antony Patrick (Asst Manager Lodging) Mr. Abdul Aziz OS (Estt Section) Mr. Raghubir Singh Senior Sanitary Inspector attached to the Sanitary Wing of the Council. Apart from them Mr.Ajesh Agrawal OS (Sanitary) was also facilitated who has retired from service voluntarily.
