Port Blair, Mar 31: Centralized Examination-2022-23 was conducted under the aegis of the Department of Education in 88 Govt. Secondary and Senior Secondary School for Class IX & XI commenced from 21/02/2023 to 25/03/2023 in which 3831 students of Class IX and 4016 students of Class XI appeared in 14 subjects and 28 subjects respectively.
The Overall pass percentage of Class-IX Centralized Examination-2022-23 of A&N Islands is 91%, in which out of 88 Secondary Schools 31 Schools secured 100% results. (GSS Dairy Farm, GSS Jirkatang, GSSS Tusnabad, GSS Manpur, GSS VK Pur, GSS Harminder Bay ,GSS Govindapur, GSS Pinaki Nagar, GSSS CFO Nallah, GSS Shivapuram, GSS Nimbutala, GSS Adajig, GSSS Long Island, GSS Kaushalya Nagar, GSSSOralkatcha,GSSChainpur,GSSSKarmatang-10,GSS Laxmipur, GSS Shibpur, GSS Durgapur, GSS Pachimsagar, GSS Nabagram, GSS Ramnagar, GSS Kakana, GMSSS Gol Tikry, GSSS Champion, GSSS Bengali, GSSS Kapanga, GSS Mildera and GSSS Vijaynagar & GSS Gandhinagar ).
Overall pass percentage of Class- XI Centralized Examination-2022-23 of A&N Islands is 87%, in which out of 49 Sr. Sec. Schools 9 schools secured 100% results. (GSSS Managhat ,GSSS Long Island, GSSS Karmatang-10,GSSS Sitanagar, GSSS Sawai, GMSSS Goltikry, GSSS Bengali ,GSSS Kapanga & GSSS Vijay Nagar.
The Secretary(Education),Director(Education) and Principal, SIE congratulated all those Secondary and Sr. Secondary Schools who secured 100% result in the Centralized Examination-2023 and sought for such excellence from the remaining schools too in the next Academic Session 2023-2024.
