
Port Blair, Feb 16: The Chai Sutta Bar Night Premier League Cricket Tournament is being put on by Mr. Raj in cooperation with Mr. Rajesh and Mr. Navin, the Chai Sutta Bar’s owners.
Mrs. Pramila Kumari, Adhyaksha Zilla Parishad, South Andaman served as the Chief Guest on the inaugural event of this occasion. Mr. Alok Chaturvedi, School Incharge and Principal of K. V- I served as the event’s guest of honor.
Special Guests on the occasion was Mr. Mohammad Aslam- Secretary ANCA, Mrs. Protima Banerjee – Ex- Councillor, Ward No. 06, CAP (Cricket Academy Pathan) Franchise owner Mr. Raj, BurmistBhuddist Mission Priest Phongy Chaung, Hindu Rashtriya Sakthi President A&N Islands – Mr.Angsuman Roy, Senior Sanitary Inspector,PBMC- Mr. Vijay Kumar.
The first teams to take part in the month-long Night Premier League were Phoenix Bay Pathan and P. K. Boys. The Phoenix Bay Panther won the toss and decided to throw the ball. This 40-day event will feature participation from a total of 48 teams.The event was successfully hosted by Mr. Raj.
