Port Blair, Feb 03: Botanical Survey of India Andaman and Nicobar Regional Centre celebrated World Wetland Day-2023 under the leadership of Joint Director & Head, Dr. Lal Singh. During the celebration a drawing competition was organized at Vivekananda Kendra Nagar Palika Vidyalaya, Ranchi Tekri, Port Blair. Over 120 students from different classes participated in the competition. Dr. Singh briefed about the significance of Wetlands and stated that it plays a key role in the environment and it is a duty of every human being for its restoration and conservation. All the Scientists and staff of the regional center actively participated.
