Port Blair, Jan 03: On 27/12/2022, the Ld. Court of JMFC, Mayabunder presided over by Shri. Arnab Roy Chowdhury convicted the accused Nikhil Sardar in connection with Range Office, Bajalungta (C.R. No. 08/15) for violating of section 9, 39(3), 40(2) & 50 of Wildlife Protection Act, 1972 being punishable U/S 51(1) of Wildlife Protection Act, 1972 and sentenced him to suffer Simple imprisonment for 03 years and to pay a fine of Rs. 10,000/-.
The State Prosecution was conducted by the Prosecution Wing, District Administration, Mayabunder.
