Port Blair, Nov 24: As part of the 05 days tour to Nancowry Group of Islands, Mr. Vishal Jolly National Executive Member-BJP held a series of meetings at Katchal Island on 22.11.2022 in MRN Tribal Village, E-Wall Tribal village, Sri-Lankan Settler community.
During the interaction, Mr. Arun 1st Captain, Mr. Shankar Samsung, Vice Chief Captain and Mr. Philip 1st Captain and Tribal community members were present in the meeting. During the interaction, the villagers put forth their grievances in the meeting and he assured them of making all the efforts to redress their grievances at appropriate level.
Further interaction with Katchal Sri-Lankan Settler community he enquired about the difficulties faced by them and they asked about the resettlement progress, Jolly assured and informed that the resettlement process is in final stage, it will be implemented as early as possible.
