Port Blair, Nov. 16 : Two health professionals from A&N Islands, Smti Vijaya Saigal, Retired Matron, GB Pant Hospital and SmtiChandra Mallick, ANM,GB Pant Hospital were awarded with National Florence Nightingale Awards-2021 for their meritorious services in the field of health services by the President, SmtiDroupadiMurmu during the award ceremony held at New Delhi recently.
At a brief function held today in the chamber of the Chief Secretary, A&N Administration, Shri Keshav Chandra, IAS, Smti Vijaya Saigal and Smti Chandra Mallick who got the prestigious awardwere acknowledgedby the Chief Secretary for their meritorious service rendered during the COVID pandemicin presence of senior officers of the Administration. The Chief Secretary congratulated them and also bestowed hisbest wishes to them.
