Port Blair, Nov 13: Mr. Sandeep Singh, 38 year, businessman of Port Blair alias Rinku, whose name appeared in the Andaman Gang Rape Case was reportedly arrested today at Haryana Border, following efforts by Andaman and Nicobar Police, sources said. As per details he will soon be produced before Court in Delhi for a transit remand.
Sandeep Singh’s name was mentioned in FIR as an accomplice in the crime. On 04 November ANI Police had announced a reward of Rs 01 lakh for information for passing any information about Mr. Sandeep Singh.
The Calcutta High Court on November first week had rejected theanticipatory bail plea of Rinku.
