Port Blair, Nov 10: A man from RK Gram village of Diglipur has been recently arrested for growing Ganja plants in his garden.
As per report, the arrest was made after the police team of PS Diglipur got a tip offfrom sources and subsequently a raid was conducted on 09th Nov 2022 (yesterday) by the Police team.
During the raid the police team of PS Diglipur found three Ganja Plants from the back of the house garden of the accused, Prodip Das, 32 years old.
As per sources, three ganja plants weighing nearly 187 gram were seized immediately and the accused was arrested under NDPS Act. General public of North Andaman region have lauded the efforts of PS Diglipur for maintaining a tight vigil in the area against drugs, the report further said.
