Port Blair, Oct 31: Today, on 31/10/2022 to commemorate the Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) was observed by the A&N Police. During the occasion, an exemplary ceremonial March Past by 07 Police contingents comprising of Executive Police 02 platoons each of Gents & Ladies, IRBn, Fire Service, Home Guard and 02 platoons of A&N Police Band was presented from Dugong Guest House (PBMC) to Government Press, Port Blair in the evening at 1600 hrs. Huge gathering of the general public witnessed this function at Govt. Girls Sr. Secondary School, Port Blair. The entire function was held under the supervision of Mrs. Monika Bhardwaj, IPS, Senior Superintendent of Police (AP/SAP).
