Diglipur, Oct 19: The fire victims of Aerial Bay have been temporarily given shelter arranged by the Pradhan, Gram Panchayat Kerelapuram in its Panchayat Hall last night. As the fire victims lost their domicile, they succumbed to destitution.
Mr. Dipankar Mistry, Pramukh, Panchayat Samiti, Diglipur along with the local BJP leaders Mrs. Suniti Halder, Mr. Swapan Gupta, Mr. Kewal Krishna and Mr. Liton Das visited the Panchayat Hall where the fire victims are temporarily putting up and donated them clothes.
The Pramukh has written a letter to the Deputy Commissioner and urged the DC to extend possible financial assistance as an ex-gratia to each of the fire victims, a communiqué from the Pramukh said.
