Port Blair, Sep 18: On the occasion of Vishwakarma Pooja, Jan ShikshanSansthan, South Andaman conducted ‘Kaushal DeekshantSamaroh’ on 17th September 2022 at Guptapara Village Community Hall.
Mr. Durlva Das, Pradhan, Gram Panchayat Guptapara was the chief guest. Mr. K. Vijay Kumar, member of the Board of Management and Mr. Mohammad Abdul Abid, Panchayat Secretary were the Guests of Honour.
Jan ShikshanSansthan South Andaman has been conducting skill training for non/neo literates, persons having a rudimentary level of education and school dropouts in the age group of 18-45 years. After completion of skill training, an evidence-based assessment has been conducted for all batches.
The candidates who successfully complete the assessment were awarded system-generated certificates with grades based on their performance. Certificates were distributed to 300 graduates who completed their training during 2021-22.
