Port Blair, Sept. 1:Two COVID positive cases have been detected today in A&N Islands.These twocases were detected during the screening of incoming flight passengers who arrived here yesterday. Today, 10 flights with 1402passengers arrived, out of which, 1248passengers were vaccinated with both doses while RT-PCR test was conducted on107passengers and the reports are awaited.
During RAT conducted on 10 passengers bound for North & Middle Andaman at Ferrargunj, no positive case has been detected. At Phoenix Bay Jetty, 10 passengers were tested with RAT, no positive case has been detected. RAT was conducted on 2passengers at Mohanpura Bus Terminus and no positive case has been detected.
