Port Blair, Aug. 30: Applications have been invited from the eligible Scheduled Tribes students to apply fresh and renewal application for the Scholarship Schemes as per the timelines given below:
1. Pre-Matric Scholarship Scheme to ST Students
Opening of Portal 1st September, 2022
Last date for application submission 30th November, 2022
Last date for INO Level Verification 16th December, 2022
Last date for Second Level Verification 31st December, 2022
2. Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme to ST Students
Opening of Portal 1st September, 2022
Last date for application submission 31st November, 2022
Last date for INO Level Verification 15th December, 2022
Last date for Second Level Verification 30th December, 2022
3. Grant of Additional Scholarship To ST Students
Opening of Portal 1st September, 2022

All eligible ST students have been advised to apply online on National Scholarship Portal (NSP) at https://scholarships.gov.in under head state scheme- Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Pre Matric Scholarship to ST students and Post matric Scholarship to ST students. Similarly, ST students applying for Grant of Additional Scholarship scheme to ST students are advised to choose ‘incentive scheme’ under ‘scheme type’ drop down box at the time of registration and filling up of the application form. Further, ST students are also advised to give details of only active bank account which remains in active mode and is compliant as per bank’s instructions so that payment of scholarship does not fail.
A dedicated helpdesk has been set up in all schools/ colleges to extend support to the ST beneficiaries for filling of on-line application on NSP portal. Further, helpdesk has also been set up in the Directorate of Tribal Welfare, Secretariat Complex, Port Blair as part of support to the ST students.
