Port Blair, Aug. 30: The vaccination drive is continuing smoothly in A&N Islands. As per data available, a total of 6,96,646doses of vaccine have been administered to beneficiaries in the age group of 18 and above so far. Similarly, 23,949beneficiaries have been vaccinated in the age group of 15 to 18 years. 28, 179beneficiaries in the age group of 12 to 14 years have been administered both doses of vaccine. The number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine so far stood at 2,42,424.
A total of 5839 eligible beneficiaries were vaccinated in A&N Islands while the beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine stood at 5696today.In South Andaman District,5492beneficiaries were vaccinated,out of which, 33 beneficiaries were 18 and above and the number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine stood at5362.
In North & Middle Andaman District,291beneficiaries were vaccinated,out of which,1beneficiary were 18 and above and the number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine stood at279.
In Nicobar District,56beneficiaries were vaccinated,out of which,1 beneficiary were 18 and aboveand the number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine stood at 55.
