On the auspicious occasion of “Ganesh Chaturthi’, I extend my heartiest greetings and warm wishes to all the residents of A&N Islands.
Ganesh Chaturthi is a unique and popular festival promoting amity, special harmony and mutual understanding while reaffirming our faith in the principle of unity in diversity. Its celebration by all communities with devotion and enthusiasm epitomizes the unity and spiritual harmony of A&N Islands.
I would like to appeal to the Islanders to celebrate the festival while adhering to COVID appropriate behaviour and participate in COVID vaccination drive. Adolescents are also urged to get vaccinated at the earliest and stay safe and healthy.
On this auspicious occasion, I wish that this pious festival would bring peace, prosperity and happiness among the people of these beautiful Islands.
