Port Blair, Aug 25: The Deputy Commissioner North and Middle Andaman Dr.Satyendra Singh Dusravat along with Assistant Commissioner HQ Mr. VaibhavRikhari and EE PRIs Mr. Gupta paid a surprise visit to the Solid waste management cluster situated at Dharmapur under Shivapuram Gram Panchayat on 25th August 2022.
During the visit, Mr. Venkateswar Rao, Pradhan, Gram Panchayat Shivapuram raised several local issues of Shivapuram Gram Panchayat, i.e., Repair and maintenance of the steel valley bridge at T.V Kulam; Repair and maintenance of Dilapidated and damaged culverts existing inthe village road of Panchawati starting from Panchawati junction to Newlyconstructed bridges as Emergency nature of work; Replace old rusted and dilapidated electric poles in the entire area of Panchawati and some areas in TV Kulam village under Gram Panchayat Shivapuram; Furnishing fund to JawaharNavodayaVidyalayaPanchawati for early completion of Hostel building and Repair and maintenance of Rural Road from Panchawati junction to the newly constructed bridge at Panchawati ward no. 02.
Deputy Commissioner, N&M Andaman visited the rural road atPanchawati and assured necessary steps will be taken for early repair of the road and will take up the issue of J.N.V with higher authorities of A&NAdministration for early release of the fund to complete the hostel building work.
