Port Blair, Aug 25: Four positive cases have been detected today in A&N Islands, of which, 03 were from incoming flight passengers who arrived here yesterday. Today, 08 flights with 1218 passengers arrived, out of which, 1093 passengers were vaccinated with both doses while an RT-PCR test was conducted on 87 passengers and the reports are awaited.
During RAT conducted on 16 passengers bound for North & Middle Andaman at Ferrargunj, no positive case has been detected. At Phoenix Bay Jetty, 10 passengers were tested with RAT, no positive case has been detected. RAT was conducted on 9 passengers at Mohanpura Bus Terminus, no positive case has been detected.
