Port Blair, Aug. 24: The vaccination drive is continuing smoothly in A&N Islands. As per data available, a total of 6,95,947doses of vaccine have been administered to beneficiaries in the age group of 18 and above so far. Similarly, 23,941beneficiaries have been vaccinated in the age group of 15 to 18 years. 27, 931beneficiaries in the age group of 12 to 14 years have been administered both doses of vaccine. The number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine so far stood at 2,19,615.
A total of 5,332 eligible beneficiaries were vaccinated in A&N Islands while the beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine stood at 5,082today.In South Andaman District,3,853 beneficiaries were vaccinated,out of which, 25 beneficiaries were 18 and above and the number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine stood at3,695.
In North & Middle Andaman District, 1290 beneficiaries were vaccinated,out of which,4beneficiarieswere 18 and above and the number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine stood at1206.
In Nicobar District,189beneficiaries were vaccinated,out of which,6beneficiaries were 18 and above and the number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine stood at181.
