Port Blair, Aug 22: On the completion of 75 years of Independence, the Government of India has started the campaign of giving free vaccine doses for 75 days and keeping in view the clarion call of the Prime Minister of India to ensure that everybody in our family and our area or village takes the precaution dose, Booster Dose Campaign is being organized by the District Administration, South Andaman in coordination with the PRIs and various associations at multiple places across the District.
The District functionaries are proactively visiting and monitoring the special vaccination camps at various places in the District and field functionaries are being directed to maximize the participation of eligible persons in the COVID vaccination drive and strengthen the drive.
The vaccination camps were organized at the following places on 22.08.2022:
