Port Blair, July 28: Ten positive cases have been detected today in A&N Islands, of which, 5 were from incoming flight passengers who arrived here yesterday. Today, 8 flights with 1078 passengers arrived, out of which, 964 passengers were vaccinated with both doses while RT-PCR test was conducted on 88 passengers and the reports are awaited.
During RAT conducted on 13 passengers bound for North & Middle Andaman at Ferrargunj, no positive case has been detected. At Phoenix Bay Jetty, 15 passengers were tested with RAT, one positive case has been detected. RAT was conducted on 10 passengers at Mohanpura Bus Terminus, no positive case has been detected.At Helipad RAT was conducted on 2 passengers and the reports were negative.
