Port Blair, July 18: Mr. AjoyBairagi, State President, BJP requested Mr. Jitendra Narain, Chief Secretary, A&N Administration to appoint an Assistant Malaria Officer forKamorta Island immediately.
After receiving the request from the people of Kamorta, Mr. AjoyBairagi in his letter addressed to Chief Secretary, A&N Administration said that there is no official in the Southern group of Islands to look after the Malaria section since last year.
Therefore, Mr. Bairagi requested the Chief Secretary, A&N Admin to appoint an Assistant Malaria Officer to Kamorta Island in the public interest.
