Diglipur, July 14: A corona positive case surfaced in Diglipur today when an 11-year-old boy was detected COVID-19 positive.
As per report, the boy had a travel history who along with parents flew from Kolkata to Port Blair on 12th July and RT-PCR test was done to them at the VSI Airport Port Blair on the very day. The boy along with his parents then travelled to Diglipur the following day. However, the RT-PCR test confirmed the lad’s having been infected with the COVID-19 virus and accordingly the information was passed to the concerned department, here. The boy has been placed under quarantine at his residence till 18th July, the report further said.
