Port Blair, Jul 05: Mr. Abdul Siddique, ex-Pramukh of Mayabuder has requested the Deputy Commissioner of North and Middle Andaman to introduce an Examination centre for all common recruitment exams at Mayabunder.
In a letter addressed to the Deputy Commissioner, N&M Andaman, Mr. Siddique mentioned that whenever Common Recruitment Exams are conducted for various posts the Main Exam Centre is always stationed at Port Blair. The candidates staying in far-flung areas in North & Middle Andaman always have to bear the travelling expenses, food and lodging expenses to Port Blair till they return back after appearing for the Recruitment Exams. As a result, they have to spend a hefty amount of money which is unaffordable for the candidates.
Therefore, Mr. Abdul Siddique requested the Deputy Commissioner, N&M Andaman if an Examination Centre is based at Mayabunder for all Common Recruitment Exams it would be beneficial for all the candidates appearing from North & Middle Andaman.
