Whichever State transport Bus goes to Brichgunj, never goes to Brookshabad which is only about 2 km away from Brichgunj. “As a result the people, especially the elderly, sick, school going children and womenfolk feel many problems, specially during rainy as they have to come up to Brichgunj to get their desired bus,” he said.
The PCC President requested the Secretary Transport to consider all those State transport bus running upto Brichgunj to go up to Brookashabad and pick up the passengers.
The Secretary Transport reportedly agreed to this proposal and assured to take care of the people of Brookshabad.
Mr. Sharma also took up the issue of twenty three PHC staff of Kishori Nagar, Diglipur which is being run under PPP mode with the Principal Secretary Health, AN Administration. The delegate of such staff met the President on 27thNovember, 12 and elaborated about their pathetic condition of not having their salary since June, 2012 from the NGO. Travelling allowances are also not being paid to the field staff but they are asked to do field duties which make these staff frustrated.
Hence Mr. Sharma wrote a letter to the Principal Secretary (Health) and requested her to consider immediate release of the salary of the staff of the Primary Health Centre with retrospective effect and also to clear travelling allowances to the field staff.
In his letter the President has also urged to the Pr. Secretary to issue necessary instructions on the PHC run under PPP mode, Kishori Nagar to the effect that the staff posted there are not mentally and financially harassed in future.
