Port Blair, Jun 05: A private bus that was on its way towards Diglipur from Port Blair met with an accident this morning at Phooltala,KesariaDera near Gate Number 03 at around 08.45 AM.
As per information a bike from the opposite side of the road was approaching and due to road obstruction because of a broken-down private Pickup van, the bike entered the wrong side of the road directly in front of the bus (Anand).
As per details, to avoid the collision, the Anand Bus reportedly gave excess way to the bike due to which the bus went off the road and got tilted towards a road side drain.
The bus was traveling with a full seating capacity of passengers but fortunately, no injuries were reported in the accident. As per details at around 10:00 AM the bus was taken out from the drain and later it left for Diglipur safely.
