Port Blair, May. 04: The vaccination drive is continuing smoothly in A&N Islands. As per data available, a total of 6,76,702 beneficiaries in the age group of 18 and above have been vaccinated so far in A&N Islands. Similarly, 23,438 beneficiaries have been vaccinated in the age group of 15 to 18 yrs. and 11,857 beneficiaries have been vaccinated in the age group of 12 to 14 yrs.The number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine so far stood at 20423.
A total of 561 eligible beneficiaries were vaccinated in A&N Islands. 293 eligible beneficiaries were vaccinated in South Andaman District, out of which 8 beneficiaries were in the age group of 12-14years, 4 beneficiaries were in the age group of 18-44 years and the number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine stood at 190.
246 beneficiaries were vaccinated in North & Middle Andaman District, out of which 20 beneficiaries were in the age group of 12-14 years and the number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine stood at 106.
22 beneficiaries were administered precautionary dose of vaccine in Nicobar District.
