Port Blair, May 01: A 30-year-old man died because of electrocution while carrying out electrical works on a pole tower at Utkrosh area.
The deceased was identified as Gautham Mandal, Electrician of a private company. The incident took place on 28th April 2022 when he went on night duty in Utkrosh region for electrical works. While working on the light tower he got electric shocks and tumbled to the ground. He was immediately rushed to PHC Garacharma by nearby people. The PHC Garacharma doctor examined and declared him dead. An unnatural case was registered at Aberdeen Police Station.
