Port Blair, Apr 25: An awareness programme on internship scheme pertaining to student’s employability skill enhancement, an initiative of All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) held at DBRAIT auditorium for the students on 20th April 2022.
The objective is to make aware of the scheme, avail the opportunity on the mainland and improve their skill through this internship as it is mandatory for all students to cover six months of internship, as per their curriculum.
Mr. Buddha Chandrasekhar, Chief Coordinating Officer, AICTE through ONLINE informed about the availability of various opportunities in cities that will also be extended to remote areas like A&N Islands.
Mr. Vipin Kumar, Assistant Director, AICTE demonstrated the AICTE internship portal, ELIS, NEAT Portal and showed the functionality and facilities of the portals. He also addressed the queries of the students and faculty members.
Altogether 700 students along with the faculty members attended this awareness programme.
