Port Blair, Mar. 29: The vaccination drive is continuing smoothly in A&N Islands. As per data available, a total of 6,10,000 beneficiaries in the age group of 18 and above have been vaccinated so far in A&N Islands. Similarly, 23,329 beneficiaries have been vaccinated in the age group of 15 to 18yrs and 8680 beneficiaries have been vaccinated in the age group of 12 to 14 yrs.The number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine so far stood at 10142.
A total of 829 eligible beneficiaries were vaccinated in A&N Islands. 575 eligible beneficiaries were vaccinated in South Andaman District, out of which,320 beneficiaries were in the age group of 12-14years,8 beneficiaries were in the age group of 18-44 years and the number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine stood at 95.
217 beneficiaries were vaccinatedin North & Middle Andaman District,out of which, 206beneficiaries were in the age group of 12-14yearsand the number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine stood at 11.
37 beneficiaries were vaccinatedin Nicobar District,out of which, 20beneficiaries werein the age group of 12-14yearsand the number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine stood at 17.
