Port Blair, Mar 27: World Forest Day (21/03/2022) was observed by the NSS volunteers, DBRAIT, on 25th March 2022. Students have shown spirit and enthusiasm during the process, from sapling collection to the ultimate planting. The following challenges are to protect those saplings from the odds, and NSS volunteers are confident enough to protect the baby plants. NSS Program Officer also requested the agriculture department to provide more saplings, including fruits trees, for more plantations inside the DBRAIT campus. Program Officers and one staff were motivating NSS volunteers by presenting on the ground of activities.
