Port Blair, Mar 16: Youths of Bindraban on 14th March 2022 congratulated Mr. V K Abdul Aziz and his team for winning the majority of Bindraban Panchayat seats.
Mr. V K Abdul Aziz (Zilla Parishad), Mrs. Bindu Kumari (Pradhan) Mrs. Amrita Barla (Samiti Candidate) and 09 ward members have won the seats in Bindraban.
Mr. Anick Das said “We have selected good leader and our area is liquor & drugs free”.
Mr. V K Abdul Aziz, DCC president said, “The result of the election of Bindraban Panchayat and Ferrargunj tehsil is a glimpse of the youthful mind on the day when the youth has loudly demanded employment, good roads, uninterrupted PowerSupply, low fare Airlines tickets, better Sports infrastructure, etc”.
Mrs. M A Naseem Banu, Election In-charge, said that with this win the youth have stamped on issue-based politics. She also congratulated all the winning candidates’ representatives.
Mr. Rajesh, the winning candidate said “Some Political Parties circulated fake & meme videos, organized bike rally and invited celebrity from Mainland. But we worked hard at ground level and despite our inadequate financial condition, our honest work was accepted by the Islanders which made us victorious in the election.
