Port Blair, Mar 13: The State President of TDP, Mr. N Manikya Rao Yadav today said that the Chairperson of PBMC from second and third terms will be from TDP.
“Both parties have agreed that the Chairperson of PBMC for the second and third terms will be from TDP,” Mr Yadav told Andaman Sheekha Daily today.
Earlier Mr. Rao had demanded Chairperson of PBMC for the first term from TDP but it seems later the party agreed for the second and third terms.
“We tried a lot. But after several rounds of talks we have agreed for the second and third terms. There were many factors involved in this decision. Now BJP is in power in center and presently all powers of PBMC councillors have been taken away by the administration regarding which BJP will be able to fight if the Chairperson is from BJP for the first term,” said Mr. N Manikya Rao Yadav. With this it is now almost clear that the Chairperson of PBMC for the first term will be from BJP.
