Port Blair, Feb 27: Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray, former Member of Parliament of A&N Islands has expressed concerns to Mr. Nitin Gadkari, the Minister of Road Transport and Highways of India regarding poor ATR conditions and poor construction quality in NH-4 (Kalara Junction to Lamiya Bay).
In a letter addressed to Mr. Gadkari, Mr. Ray requested him to take up the matter with concerned authorities and demanded a regular visit by the National Quality Monition Team.
He mentioned that with the regular visit by the inspection team, the roads could be built and repaired in a proper manner.
