Port Blair, Nov 20: Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Chairman of the Andaman & Nicobar Cooperative Supply & Marketing Federation Ltd., (ANCOFED) has once again appealed to the farmers/Growers of South Andaman, North & Middle Andaman, Little Andaman and Great Nicobar Island (Campbell Bay) to supply their milling copra produced by them to their respective Primary Coop. Societies appointed by this Federation as Sub-Agent for procuring Copra of the farmers under the Price Support Scheme (PSS), 2012 at the rate of Rs.51/- kg fixed by the Govt. of India to avail the full benefit of the Scheme.
In case, any farmer face problem of getting the payment from Sub-Agents below the rate of Rs.51/- per kg fixed by the Govt. of India he/she may contact immediately to Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Chairman of this Federation at Cell No.9434266877 or Mr. M.K. Srinivasan, General Manager of the Federation at Cell No.9933286362/233195.
The Sub-Agents are also hereby advised to make payment @ Rs.51/- per kg of copra fixed under Price Support Scheme to the farmers. In case any Sub-Agents is found any deviation from making payment below the PSS fixed by the Govt. of India, action as deem fit shall be taken against them forthwith.
