Port Blair, Feb 01: Full dress rehearsal of City Parade – Milan 2012 will be held at Marina Park, Port Blair on 03 Feb 12 from 1500 hrs onwards. The event is open to general public. This colourful parade will showcase a rich tapestry of international culture as well as some breathtaking aircraft flypasts, commando maneuvers and entertaining shows. Platoons from the Indian Army, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard and Andaman Police along with platoons from the visiting ships will form the marching contingents.
The main attractions of the City Parade will include a fly past by ANC aircraft and the Indian Air Force supersonic Sukhoi 30 aircraft. Various dance performances and displays will also form a part of attraction.
The Indian Air Force’s sky diving team ‘Air Devils’ and simulated attack demonstration by the Marine Commandos of Indian Navy are sure to electrify the public. The sunset ceremony will be followed by illumination of Indian Naval Ships.
