21-year-old held with 2KG of Ganja near private courier office at Junglighat

Port Blair, Jan 06: A 21-year-old youth was arrested by the police team of PS Central Crime Station with 2 KG of illicit Ganja near a private courier office at Junglighat yesterday afternoon.
As per the information received, based on credible information the police team of the CCS unit conducted a raid near the private courier office Junglighat, where they found a 21-year-old youth standing near the courier office with a parcel. The accused is a resident of Dignabad, it is learned.
When checked, the police team recovered 02 KG of illicit Ganja from the parcel. The youth was immediately arrested and an FIR was registered at PS CCS against him. Further investigations are on.
