Port Blair, Dec 20: Mr Vishal Jolly, National Executive Member BJP, Member of Home Ministry Advisory Committee, Govt. of India & Former State President BJP A&N has requested the administration to resume boat service from Rangat to Swaraj Dweep via Shaheed Dweep through in a letter addressed to the Chief Secretary, Andaman & Nicobar Administration.
He mentioned that the a boat service was in place from Rangat to Swaraj Dweep via Shaheed Dweep on pre-covid time thrice a week which is largely benefitting the people residing in Middle Andaman. Now the boat services is not operational from long back which is causing immense pain and suffering to a large section of the population hailing from Middle Andaman and they are also forced to travel to Port Blair for availing their boat journey to Swaraj Deep & Shaheed Dweep by wasting huge amount of time and money.
He pointed out that the boat services be augmented from Rangat to Swaraj Dweep via Shaheed Dweep and vice versa thrice a week by same boat going from Port Blair to Rangat would be a huge relief to the general public and commuters.
He requested the administration to immediately resume the boat services from Rangat to Swaraj Dweep via Shaheed Dweep and vice versa for the convenience of the general public residing in Middle Andaman.
