Port Blair, Dec 15: A delegation of Andaman & Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee (ANTCC) comprising of ANTCC President Mr. Rangalal Halder, ANTCC Campaign Committee Chairman Mr. G Bhasker, DCC President Mr. V.K Abdul Aziz and State President NSUI Mr. M.A.Sajid met the Education Secretary Dr. Angel Bhati Chauhan, IAS today to discuss the education related problems being faced by students of A&N Islands and handed over a memorandum.
During the meeting, the ANTCC included major demands like immediate filling of vacant Guest Faculty posts in MGGC, JNRM & ANCOL, setting up Central University, special vaccination camps for students to keep them safe from Corona were also raised. The Education Secretary has reportedly taken cognizance of all the subjects and has assured action soon.
