Port Blair, Dec 09: In connection with the untimely death of CDS Gen Bipin Rawat, his wife, and 11 other soldiers following a Helicopter crash at Kannur, Tamil Nadu on Wednesday, a condolence meeting was conducted by Hindu Rashtra Shakti Team, North and Middle Andaman at Billiground Vegetable market today at 04:00 PM.
As per information received all the shopkeepers of Billiground market closed their shops for an hour. HRS Members and all shopkeepers gathered in Billiground market to pay floral tribute to Gen Vipin Rawat, first Chief of Defence Staff, his wife, and other soldiers who lost their lives in the Helicopter crash.
On the occasion, Mr. Sishir Kumar Sutar, Organizing Secretary, HRS, NMA, and General Secretary Billiground Market Committee highlighted about the career of CDS Gen Vipin Rawat and also focused on his dream that how he wanted to modernize Indian forces and self-efficiency of Indian forces and make the country super powerful in the world.
