Port Blair, December 06: In a recent communication to Chief Secretary, A&N Administration, Dr. J Arockia Raj, National Member, World Human Rights Protection Commissions, has condemned the policy decision on Termination of present Contractual Staffs in various departments under A&N Administration. He stated that it is unjustified to terminate the present staffs on Contract with new staffs on Contract basis.
He demanded Administration to make provisions under Article 39 & 21 of Constitution of India, 1949,which may guarantee for livelihood.
WHRPC requested administration to extend the present contractual staffs contracts based on their experiences and considering livelihood & secure the livelihood of the present contractual staffs, who were working since many years and specially ANIIMS, DHS, NHRMS & other staffs, who contributed themselves in COVID Duty day and night without any increment and favours.
