Port Blair, Nov 12: Shri Naveena Neerada Dasa, Director, Strategic Communication, The Akshaya Patra Foundation and Member of Parliament of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma today distributed hundreds of ration kits to senior citizens, poor families, destitute people, widows and especially-abled Islanders at various areas of South Andaman.
According to details, at 10.00 AM 300 ration kits were distributed at Ograbraj area, at 11 AM 200 kits were distributed at Guptapara area, at 12.30 noon 400 kits were distributed at Prothrapur area, at 3.00 PM 190 kits were distributed at Ferrargunj area and at 5.00 PM 300 kits were distributed at Wimberlygunj area of South Andaman.
All ration kits were provided by world renowned NGO, Akshaya Patra Foundation. Altogether 3000 ration kits have been provided by Akshya Patra Foundation.
Addressing the gathering at various locations Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma expressed gratitude towards Akshaya Patra Foundation for providing these Ration Kits for the needy people of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
