Port Blair, Nov 11: Shri Naveena Neerada Dasa, Director, Strategic Communication, The Akshaya Patra Foundation and Member of Parliament of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma today distributed 400 ration kits to widow and destitute women of Bambooflat region.
All ration kits were provided by world renowned NGO, Akshaya Patra Foundation. Altogether 3000 ration kits have been provided by Akshya Patra Foundation, out of which 400 kits were distributed today.
Addressing the gathering Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma said that women are the power behind every successful society and empowering of women is the responsibility of every society. The Member of Parliament assured that he will continue to work for upliftment of women in every sector.
Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma expressed deepest gratitude towards Akshaya Patra Foundation for providing the Grocery Kits and Ration Kits for the needy people of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
The programme, organized at Durga Puja Mandap of Bambooflat witness huge gathering of people.
