Port Blair, Nov 10: To inculcate logical attitude and rational thinking among students, “Science, Art and Craft Exhibition” was organized by Govt. Secondary School, Namunaghar on 9th November 2021.The exhibition was inaugurated by Smt Hamid Khan, SMC Chairman of the school. Students displayed many self-designed working scientific models and projects. Smt Preethima Kumari and Shri Kandaiah Ex Pradhan’s of Namunaghar village were the Guests of honours at the inaugural function. In his address, Chief Guest appreciated the efforts taken by the students in showcasing their talents. Smt Preethima Kumari also spoke to the students and propelled them for igniting their scientific temper.
Earlier, the Headmistress (i/c) of the school, Smt Lidia Bage welcomed the gathering and referenced that the objective behind conducting this exhibition was to nurture the innovative and hidden ideas of the students by providing them a platform to showcase it. Smt Rakhi Singh, GTT(Sc) who coordinated the exhibition, proposed the vote of thanks.
