Port Blair, Oct 21: Based on credible information, on the night of 21/10/21 at about 01:00 AM, SI Anik Das SHO PS Humfrigunj along with HC Abdul Basir, PC Anirudhra Das, PC Aurangzed Ahmed, PC Sabraj Mohd and PC Shanker seized 01 gunny bag containing about 25 KG of wildlife protected wild boar meat and 01 gunny bag containing about 32 KG of venison (Deer meat) from North Wandoor creek area.
In regard six people were apprehended. After due procedure, all the seized articles and detained persons were handed over to the forest officials of Manglutan Range for further necessary action at their end.
