Port Blair, Sept 24: In a conditional order issued today by SDM Rangat u/s 133 Cr. PC, the SDM mentioned that it has come to his notice that Mr. Subrata Basu, Social Worker R/o Kadamtala and 02 others has planted some saplings in the NH-4 and the same has gone viral in the social media (whatsaap, facebook etc.), due to which villagers of Kadamtala are facing lots of difficulties.
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers vested upon him U/s 133 Cr.P.C., the SDM has ordered the Manager, Mantena Vasistha, Kadamtala to remove the planted saplings and fill-up the potholes immediately for convenience of general public as well as smooth vehicular traffic.
“The compliance report of this order should be submitted in this Court within one day i.e on 24/09/2021. Non-compliance of this order shall make them liable to the penalty prescribed under Section 188 of IPC and the order shall be made absolute,” the order mentioned.
