Port Blair, Sep 14: “Poshan Maah” was celebrated today under the banner of Directorate of Social Welfare Andaman and Nicobar Administration, organised by ICDS Urban Project at Sundar Colony, Haddo.
As per information received a mini exhibition was organised in which Smti Bindu Raghunath, Agriculture officer joined as the chief guest.
“The “Poshan Maah” will be celebrated from 01st to 30th September 2021 by Directorate of Social Welfare in which people will get aware of value of nutrition, kitchen garden at their own house”, our main motto is educate people about nutrient value through organic farming”, said the Chief Guest.
It was learnt that Smti Indira Devi (Mukehya Sevika) ICDS, Urban Project also briefed about the importance of nutrition kitchen gardening to the people and Smti Bable Halder (ANM) and Smti M Brinda (Social worker) and the social workers were also present in the exhibition.
