Diglipur, Aug 27: On 26/08/2021 at about 7 am an information was received at OP Kishori Nagar that a young girl, residing in remote area of Kishori Nagar is ailing and her health condition is worsening. Acting swiftly upon the information the matter was immediately informed to PHC Kishori Nagar to keep an ambulance on standby to shift the girl.
The home guards volunteers namely HG/545 Naveen Roy and HG/525 Prave Sarkar rushed to the spot and lifted her up to main road on a locally made stretcher with the help of family members, thereafter she was taken in an ambulance and shifted to PHC Kishori Nagar. The girl was further referred to CHC Diglipur and she is under observation.
Prompt action by the local police shows their humanitarian approach and saved the life of a young girl.
